The Chroma Harp Duo takes audiences on a kaleidoscopic journey: performing works from the classical harp repertoire, using the harp as a percussion instrument, and exploring new sounds from Indian ragas to live electronics. Their programme includes works by Vivaldi, Smetana, Respighi, Manuel de Falla plus contemporary, newly commissioned pieces.

Ewan Millar is one of the most prominent young oboe soloists in the UK.  A BBC Young Musician finalist in 2020, he also won the coveted Gold Medal at the Royal Overseas League competition at Wigmore Hall in 2025.  Welsh musician Tomos Boyles is a young and exciting concert pianist. They will play works by J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms,Samuel Barber, Astor Piazzolla, and Ruth Gipps.

This concert, a regular and popular festival event, gives solo recital performance opportunities to talented young musicians aged 8 to 18. They perform to a supportive audience in a variety of genre from classical, jazz and folk.

This dynamic and innovative Early Music Group has a passion for showcasing Baroque music. Their imaginative and distinctive programme, ‘A Gift for your Garden’, celebrates the Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann and his contemporaries.

The Bute Wind Quintet formed at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama is a multi-award winning ensemble. Noted for their innovative programming, they have been praised for their lively and inspiring musicianship.

Netherlands born violinist, Charlotte Spruit, was a winner of the 2023 Young Classical Artists Trust International Auditions and was selected as one of Classic FM’s ‘Rising Stars’ of 2024. A keen chamber musician and soloist, Charlotte has performed at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall in London and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. As a concerto soloist, Charlotte has played with numerous orchestras, including the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pauliner Barockensemble and Ensemble Esperanza. She will be joined by British pianist and composer Angus Webster.

London based pianist Amiri Harewood currently studies at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Danny Driver as a postgraduate student. He previously studied at Trinity Music Academy and sang as a treble with the renowned Trinity Boys Choir. Amiri is a Grand Prize winner of the Young Classical Artists Trust (UK) and Concert Artists Guild (US) International Auditions 2024, and is a regular performer throughout the UK and abroad, having already debuted at the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and at the Venice Conservatorio.

The Fibonacci Quartet is one of Europe's leading young string quartets. They are a Resident Ensemble at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and at the Dutch String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam. The quartet have received numerous awards including First Prize in the Royal Overseas League Chamber Music Competition, First Prize in the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition, First Prize in the International Triomphe de l’Art Competition in Belgium and The Kirckman Society Award.

The Fibonacci Quartet is the current YCAT Hans Keller Artist.

The Paddington Trio is seen as the one of the most exciting chamber ensembles of their generation and has been recognised in international competitions and live performances for their fresh interpretations and exuberant energy. The trio is celebrated for its close and energetic communication, insightful and imaginative programming and highly refined ensemble playing. They have won numerous awards and prizes, including First Prize in the 2024 Triomphe de l’Art International Competition and the prestigious Parkhouse Award held at the Wigmore Hall in April 2023.

The Art Deco Trio performs classical and popular music with a jazz influence. They combine the materials and textures of the classical repertoire with the rhythms and harmonies of jazz. Like the Art Deco style, their music mixes elegance and clean lines with exuberance and bold colours. The trio is made up of three friends and colleagues, who have performed together with various groups of musicians at many leading UK venues.

Born in Italy, Sofia Sacco moved to the UK in 2019 to study at the Royal Academy of Music. She was the recipient of the Francis Simms Prize in 2021 and winner of both the Bach International Music Competition and the A. Baldi International Music Competition. She was appointed Hodgson Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and recently awarded the Aud Jesen Fellowship. She has played extensively throughout Europe and Asia, both in solo recitals and as a soloist with orchestras.

Praised for the “elegance of his technique, overall sound and natural poeticism” (Strad Magazine), Maxim Calver first gained public recognition as a BBC Young Musician 2018 Grand Finalist and Strings Category winner. Highlights since then include appearances at the Berlin Konzerthaus, Pau Casals Festival, Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall and St. John’s Smith Square. Maxim currently studies at the Royal College of Music with Professor Melissa Phelps, where he is proud to be an ABRSM Scholar.

Kumi Matsuo is a versatile solo pianist, chamber musician and accompanist who has performed extensively at venues across the world. She is now on the staff at the Royal College of Music working as Duo coach.

The Adelphi Quartet was formed in 2017 whilst studying at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In 2022 they won 2nd prize and the Esterhazy Foundation Prize at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition as well as many other prizes. Over the last year the Quartet has given debut recitals at the Wigmore Hall, the Aldeburgh Festival and throughout Europe. They were selected by Young Classical Artists Trust in 2021

British violinist Mathide Milwidsky was named in 2023 as a Classic FM Rising Star: 30 under 30. Praised for her “rich velvety sound” she has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes and performed as a soloist at venues in the UK including the Royal Festival Hall, St John’s Smith Square and Wigmore Hall as well as across Europe. Pianist Annie Yim is a Hong Kong-born Canadian concert pianist, creative collaborator and founder of MusicArt based in London.

An exceptional young pianist, Ignas Maknickas received “The Queen’s Commendation for Excellence” at the Royal Academy of Music in July 2021 and won YCAT auditions in June 2023. Ben Tarlton, cello Robin Green, piano

Born in Wales, Ben Tarlton attended the Yehud Menuhin School from where he won a Scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. As well as his solo recital work including an Award-winner's Recital at Wigmore Hall, he has won acclaim for his concerto and chamber music performances. Robin Green enjoys a busy career as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor. He regularly performs in festivals in the UK and Europe.

Born in Japan, Ayaka Shigeno joined the Yehudi Menuhin School at age 14 and subsequently studied at Berlin University of Fine Arts. She has appeared in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw and performed as soloist in festivals in Gstaad and Deia. She is currently teaching at the Yehudi Menuhin School and works for Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a collaborative pianist. For this recital, she has chosen pieces based on the idea of “images“.
